This solid little hub, is excellent for my use case in needing on the go portability for extra USB ports and a much needed MicroSD port. I do not often have a need for an HDMI output but this has one and it works I tested it using my 4k TV worked fine. The construction is solid metal maybe aluminum. I like that it has an On/Off display button option. If using with a Cellphone or a laptop it has USB-C Passthrough power port. Overall I am impressed with this little hub. Good job Turonic.

This is a nice, small USB hub for connecting to laptops and desktops that support extended features over the USB C port.

Many laptops have limited USB ports, especially USB-A ports. This hub provides three USB-A ports, card readers for SD and microSD cards, and an HDMI output if your laptop supports video over USB C. It can also support USB charging pass through if your laptop supports USB charging.

I connected the hub to my desktop and waited while the OS recognized the different ports and capabilities of the hub. I then tested the microSD card reader. It provided essentially the same read and write speeds of the microSD card as my standalone card reader. The hub did not seem to cause any additional delay with its internal circuitry.

Overall I think this is a good hub for laptops that support extended features using the USB C port. It is a single hub that supports charging, HDMI video, card reading, and USB expandability in a small form factor. It takes up very little space if used on a desk or tossed in a laptop bag. My previous dock had less features and was much larger. Recommended.
