Turonic TP1 Wireless Touchpad

After having this touchpad for one day, I ordered a second one for my home office. There is no physical or haptic click on this unit, but I never pressed on my laptop touchpad to make it click either. Tap to click is not everyone's go to though and I thought it would be good to call that out. It works well with the provided dongle and with Bluetooth. I have 2 Windows laptops and it works well with both. It does not work with Linux for me, but I had no expectations that it would... just thought I'd mention it. The battery life has been great so far, using 7-10% per work day. That exceeded my expectations. I'm using this instead of a mouse or trackball and have loved the experience. I plan to pack this in my bag when traveling. It's so thin and lightweight, it will be a great travel companion.

I’ve been using the Turonic TP1 touchpad for my computer for a little while now and honestly I like it more than I expected. I usually work with a mouse, but I wanted something cleaner on my desk and this feels more like using a laptop trackpad, just bigger and more comfortable. The design is really nice — very slim, light, and modern looking. It doesn’t look cheap at all. The surface is smooth and my fingers glide easily, so scrolling and moving the cursor feels natural. I mostly use it for browsing, emails, documents, and basic everyday work, and for that it works perfectly fine. Setup was simple. I just connected it and it worked without any complicated steps. It also comes with a charging cable, which is good because I don’t like dealing with batteries. The battery life seems decent so far. One thing I like is that it doesn’t slide around on the desk because of the rubber pads underneath. It stays in place even when I’m using gestures. Gestures like scrolling and zooming work well, but of course it depends a bit on your computer settings. I wouldn’t say this is for heavy gaming or professional graphic design, but for regular office work, studying, or just everyday computer use, it’s very comfortable. It also looks good next to the keyboard and makes the setup feel more minimal. Overall, I’m happy with it. If you like laptop-style touchpads and want something simple, clean, and easy to use instead of a mouse, this is a nice option for the price.

Just received my order. I tested it and it works just great with my Windows PC. The touchpad is smooth, responsive, and easy to use. Also would like to add that it is a good size. Battery life is good too. Very happy with it!

Setup was quick and painless, paired over Bluetooth right away with no fuss. Multi-touch gestures like click, drag, right-click, and scroll all feel smooth and responsive on Windows, and being able to switch between devices is genuinely convenient if you split time between a desktop and laptop. For the price, the build quality is honestly better than I expected, it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy at all. The one caveat: it's not fully compatible with my MacBook. It connects and works, but not as seamlessly as on Windows, some gestures feel inconsistent. If you're primarily a Windows user, this is a great pick. Mac users might want to double-check compatibility before buying.

Just got this yesterday and I’m impressed so far. Setup was quick with Bluetooth/USB, and it connected right away. The touch surface is very smooth and precise, and multi-touch gestures (scrolling, right-click, drag) work well on Windows. I like how thin and lightweight it is, easy to carry, and the anti-slip base keeps it steady on the desk. Battery life looks promising so far. Great first impression.

I’ve never been a fan of touch pads because most aren’t very responsive. This baby installs easily in Windows and moves as responsively as a standard mouse. I expected some lag in the movement but this is very smooth. The zoom feature is excellent as well, and there’s no annoying click sounds to deal with. I haven’t tried it in IOS and don’t have any complaints so much as a suggestion that they add a “back button” feature. I’m fine without it, but it would have been nice to have. Well worth the price in my opinion.

While expensive, the Turonic TP1 is the best wireless Windows touchpad/trackpad I have used. All multifinger gestures work well, connectivity has been perfect, the glass surface is smooth, and sleep latencies are not any issue. I've discovered that although my mouse pointer device preference is a large, finger operated trackball, I can move the mouse cursor more precisely with a good touchpad/trackpad like those integrated into modern Macbooks. The multifinger gestures add functionality that other mouse devices don't deliver or deliver poorly like zooming, volume control, and windows and desktop management. While the Apple "Magic" Trackpad can work in Windows, gymnastics are required to enable all of its functions, which are probably not possible on corporate-managed Windows systems. I've tried a bunch of Windows touchpads and the Turonic TP1 is the best. It has a large tracking surface without dead zones or special button click areas. It has reliable Bluetooth connectivity, unlike the Amazon Basics trackpad which has a range of only a few feet and cannot penetrate obstacles like a desktop. You also get a USB dongle (which the Amazon device lacks) and a wired option. The Amazon trackpad has attrocious sleep latencies which you have to deal with after only a minute or two of idle. The TP1 goes to sleep after 30 minutes and wakes up almost instantly. Glass touchpad surfaces are best. They have the least friction, don't become stained with skin oils, and feel better than mylar touchpads. The Turonic TP1 does appear to have a glass surface although the glass doesn't feel as cool as the glass on Apple laptops, suggesting that it is thinner. All multifinger gestures work well. I have used other wireless trackpads that had very clunky and unreliable multitouch behavior. The TP1 is the thinnest trackpad I have used and it is also very light. The TP1 looks good, but it would look better without the logo in the middle of the touch area. While it doesn't feel cheap, a substantial aluminum body would make it feel more worthy of its high price. While the Turonic TP1 is the best Windows trackpad I have used, it does have several cons: * It needs haptics! In a corporate Windows environment loaded down with snoopware, Windows can be extremely laggy. Windows can take several seconds to act on a mouse click and, without any device feedback, the user has no idea if his tap has registered as a click. The touchpad needs to vibrate on taps, preferably with different patterns for left and right clicks. The same needs to occur for multifinger taps. * While the vendor's website claims Linux compatability, the TP1 does NOT work in CachyOS. The TP1 identifies itself as an Apple Magic Trackpad, but it cannot move the cursor. I was eventually able to make all functions work, but it wasn't easy and it required AI assistance. * This is one of the most expensive trackpads on Amazon. * There is no place to store the USB dongle, which is a serious shortcoming since it's easy to lose an unused dongle. In addition to haptics, another suggestion for improvement is to add RGB lighting to the surface. The lighting could be used to acknowledge taps as well as provide eye candy. As cheap as touchscreens have become, the entire surface could be a touchscreen, which opens up many more types of visual effects like light trails as the user drags his fingers across the surface. If the TP1 had haptics, more premium construction materials and worked with Linux out of the box, I'd give it five stars. Despite being the best Windows touchpad as of August 2026, because it's so expensive with the shortcomings I've listed, I can only give the Turonic TP1 four stars.

I had an issue with my trackpad after six months and they were super responsive and took care of the issue promptly. I just love this device very helpful.
